I'm Kai, an industrial designer and artist with a deep fascination for the creative process behind products and ideas.

This project was born from the realization that most sketches created during a design process are never meant to be seen. They exist only for a brief moment, helping ideas evolve before disappearing into drawers, archives, or the bin once a product is finished.

But to me, these sketches often hold a lot of emotion.

They are raw, intuitive, imperfect, and honest. They capture the energy of exploration long before a design becomes polished or refined. Through this project, I want to give these moments a second life by transforming everyday design sketches into artworks that celebrate creativity, process, and visual thinking.

My work is inspired by the things I genuinely love: products, coffee culture, mobility, tools, gaming, cycling, architecture, and technology. Some pieces are technical and precise, others loose and expressive, but all are rooted in the same passion for thoughtful design and visual storytelling.

Alongside my artwork, I work as an independent industrial designer and share my creative process online with a growing community of designers and creatives around the world.
